HSG (Hysterosalpingogram) Test
A
procedure in which a dye is introduced into the uterine cavity, through
the cervix and coursed through the uterus and fallopian tubes while
x-ray pictures are taken to identify scarring, blockage, or other
reproductive problems. The procedure, however, does not reveal whether
the cilia ,(the tiny hairs inside the fallopian tube that “wafts” the
egg through the tube), are functioning properly.
